Our Story
Alasines is an online plant nursery for people who collect plants — not just own them. We stock the species that are genuinely hard to find: caudex and bulbous plants like Stephania erecta and Desert Rose, tropical foliage with real character, and spring–flowering bulbs that come back year after year.
What we do differently
Most plant retailers sell whatever is cheapest to ship. We try to do the opposite. We stock what growers and collectors actually ask for, we check every plant by hand before it leaves, and we pack it for living things rather than for warehouse speed.
What we grow and sell
- Rare & unusual plants — Stephania erecta, Desert Rose (Adenium), and caudex species chosen for formed trunks and real character.
- Flower bulbs — Amaryllis, tulip, daffodil, iris, lily, hyacinth, crocus and allium, graded for reliable spring blooms.
- Tropical & indoor plants — foliage and flowering varieties picked because they genuinely thrive indoors.
- Seeds & starter plants — for growers who want to do it themselves.
How every order is handled
- Inspected before shipping. Firm roots, clean foliage, no surprises when you open the box.
- Packed for live transit. Moisture-retaining wrap and crush-resistant boxes — not a plastic bag in an envelope.
- Shipped early in the week. Live plants leave Monday to Wednesday so they never sit in a depot over a weekend.
- Backed by a live arrival guarantee. If a plant arrives damaged, we replace it or refund you.
Where we ship from
Orders leave directly from our growing facility, and we deliver to addresses across the United States — shipping is free on every order, with no minimum spend. Live plants are dispatched early in the week (Monday to Wednesday) so they never sit in a depot over a weekend, and every box is packed for live transit.
