Description

A mixed pack of Asiatic lilies is the easiest way to guarantee colour in the border from early summer. The bulbs are freshly dug, firm and graded, and every pack contains a spread of orange, yellow, pink and white so the bed never looks flat. Unlike tulips, these come back year after year and slowly multiply.

Why grow Asiatic Lily Bulbs Mix

Asiatic lilies are the tough ones. They shrug off cold winters, ask for no staking on most soils and open their upward-facing flowers weeks before the Oriental types. That makes them the safest first lily for a new gardener — and the one you plant when you want flowers without fuss.

How to plant and care for it

Plant 12–15 cm deep and 20 cm apart in autumn, pointed end up, in any free-draining soil that gets six hours of sun. Water in once and then leave them; the only real risk is a waterlogged spot in winter. In pots use a loam compost with grit and give them a sunny corner. After flowering, cut only the dead flower heads and leave the foliage to yellow naturally — that is what feeds next year’s bulbs.

Great value for the quantity and size. I split the order with a friend and we both had fantastic results. The bulbs were firm, clean, and clearly fresh stock.
