Why plant in autumn
Bulbs need a cold period to flower. Planted in October they root before the ground freezes and come up strong in spring. Every variety in this collection is hardy to at least USDA zone 4.
How to plant
Plant each bulb at roughly three times its own depth in free-draining soil, pointed end up. Space them 10–15 cm apart. Water once after planting, then leave them alone until spring.
