Pink peonies are the most loved flowers in the garden, and this collection covers the whole pink range — from whisper-pale blush through rose and hot pink to deep magenta. Every root in this listing is a named pink variety, so you know exactly what colour you are planting.
These are herbaceous peonies that grow into 30–36 inch mounds and flower in late spring to early summer with huge 6–9 inch blooms. They are outstanding cut flowers and, once established, come back bigger every year for decades. Plant the eyes (growth buds) no more than 1–2 inches below the soil in full sun to light shade. Peonies hate being planted too deep, so keep them shallow and give them room. Water in well and mulch lightly. They are fully hardy in zones 3–8 and need a cold winter to bloom well.
